BO3 Saved my magic experience (Thanks!)

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to express some major gratitude to this community for recommending Best of Three (BO3) to new players like myself. I started playing Magic about 4 months ago and let's just say "land" and "spell" were foreign concepts.

Everyone suggested Standard as the best format for beginners, and following that advice, I climbed to Mythic rank every season playing exclusively BO1. This season, however, I hit a brick wall. Mono-red aggro was EVERYWHERE in BO1, and it felt impossible to keep up.

I play a bunch of different decks, but none of them were the super aggressive red or white creature builds. [[Kumano Faces Kakkazan]] and [[Slickshot Show-Off]] just felt unstoppable, and packing my decks with 12+ removal spells wasn't exactly a fun solution. Plus, facing some variation of mono-red or Boros convoke in almost half my matches got super frustrating.

So, I took the plunge and switched to BO3. Holy smokes, what a difference! The variety of decks is incredible, and win or lose, the games feel much more fair. Losses feel earned, victories feel deserved, and the frustration factor has plummeted. I can finally play the decks I enjoy without feeling like I'm constantly at a disadvantage.

There's still a ton to learn as a new player, but BO3 is absolutely amazing, just like everyone here said. Thanks for the fantastic advice!
